Oh yeah, I almost forgot this part. Job’s four friends show up a little later. They’re not the nicest guys. The kind of friends who are happy to tell you what you SHOULD have done. They pretty much tell Job why he deserves to be suffering. They have a lot of finely developed arguments about why the world is just and Job deserves his fate.
Job is patient… famously patient… and he listens to them. Here is how some of these arguments and persuasions went.
